School Counseling Program

What does a school counselor do?

As a school counselor I help students develop the academic and social skills needed to succeed, personally and professionally.  To develop these skills to succeed I see students individually, in groups, and in the classroom setting. I help students overcome obstacles that may inhibit their learning. I collaborate with parents, teacher, principals, etc. to help create the best school environment for each student.
