About Me

Me.jpg

My name is Ms. Chloe Zinn-Martin.  This is my fifth year as the School Counselor at St. Ann, and I am so excited to be back with this amazing community of teachers, staff, students, and parents!

I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Minor in Youth and Adolescence from Pittsburg State University in 2015 and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Pittsburg State University in 2018. Go Gorillas!

As a school counselor I believe that all students can learn if given the proper supports and the opportunity to do so.  All students should feel that they are safe and respected in the school allowing them to develop and grow. My goal is to create a comprehensive school counseling program that is centered on students’ needs, focusing on their social/emotional, academic, career, and spiritual needs.  Focusing on those needs will help prepare them to become responsible and productive members of society.

Through my individual sessions, group lessons, and classroom lessons I will be able to teach students how their thoughts, emotions, and actions are all connected and to help remove those obstacles that deter them from reaching their highest potential in all areas, which helps them thrive socially, academically, spiritually, and physically.
